15th AOAFF powered by DEI: The anniversary screening of "Prizzi's Honor" beneath the Acropolis
Photographic souvenirs from the (love-filled) screening of the legendary "Prizzi's Honor" under the light of the Acropolis!
Because the most beautiful things always happen at night, here are some snapshots from the full-house screening of the 15th Athens Open Air Film Festival powered by DEI, on the magnificent Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian walkway, with "Prizzi's Honor" by John Huston returning — after many years — for one unique showing on the big screen.
Celebrating 15 unforgettable years, Athens' summer cinema festival-institution has already offered four enchanting screenings this year, with more than 2,700 attendees so far.
And it continues strong, with the multi-award-winning "The Hours" by Stephen Daldry and the Oscar-winning "Howards End" by James Ivory scheduled for this Thursday (July 3) and Friday (July 4), at the idyllic garden of the Hellenic Foundation for Books and Culture - HFBC in Palaio Psychiko. With free admission, of course.
