Following in the footsteps of the delectable "Babette's Feast", "Big Night", "Eat, Drink Man Woman" and "Ratatouille", "Chef" idolizes good food to the point where you can almost taste it! The film follows the story of Carl, a chef who loses his job at a gourmet restaurant over a misunderstanding. Encouraged by his wife(Sofia Vergara), Carl is forced to return to Miami, where he decides to start his own business: a gourmet food truck!

His plan is to cross the entire county with Los Angeles as his final destination, in order to reclaim his rightful place in the spotlight. Jon Favreau, in dual actor/director mode, is surrounded by a stellar cast, including John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, Scarlett Johansson, Dustin Hoffman and Oliver Platt. But the true star of this hilarious, affectionate comedy is none other than food itself, as Carl reignites his passion for cooking and reassesses his entire life.
