Join us for a hysterical encounter with «The Ladies Man» at the foot of the Acropolis

Our favorite city getaway, the 3rd Athens Open Air Film Festival, organized with the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), is going on strong with unforgettable evenings and moments of pure delight. This Friday, join us for a hysterical encounter with the kind of comedy, Jerry Lewis, in an all-time-classic that could very well be the highlight of his career, "The Ladies Man" (1961). Best part? The movie’s going to be screened at the foot of the Acropolis.

Don’t miss out on this madcap comedy and the chance to accompany humor with an ice cold bottle of Fischer.

The film: Jerry Lewis follows up his successful directorial debut, "The Bellboy" (1960), with the same tried and tested recipe, casting himself in the lead.  

In "The Ladies Man" (1961) Herbert gets really depressed after his girl leaves him for someone else and starts searching for a job. He finally finds one in a big house, which is inhabited by many, many women. Heartbroken and timid, he finds himself in the middle of a complete madhouse, allowing Jerry Lewis to display the full range of his comedic talent.

His recent big screen comeback in Daniel Noah’s “Max Rose”, after almost two decades away from the limelight, allows us the opportunity to remember some of the most hilarious moments of his career. It’s no accident he’s been dabbed the king of physical comedy!
